Design Research Methods: Journal Study | Survey Design | Qualitative Analysis

Overview

Assumptions: The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in people staying at home more than before. Assuming that people will generally be less active at home, will they be motivated to exercise?

Connections to exercise and well-being:

In order to compare last year to the present and analyze change, two points were selected for comparison. Participants first complete a retrospective journal to help recall their general activity during a typical week in November 2019. Afterward, participants record their current activity level in a daily journal for the first week in November 2020.
